Croydon Tramlink opened in May 2000 and provides transport links in south London on 28 km of track served by 24 trams. Over 16 million passenger journeys were made on Tramlink in its first year of operation. Trams connect the centres of Croydon and Wimbledon, with spurs to Elmers End, Beckenham Junction, and New Addington. Tramlink is operated by Tramtrack Croydon Ltd (TCL) on behalf on Transport for London (TfL). A map of the network is shown below and further information is available from the trams section of the TfL website.
